In my sleep, a single image passes my eyes a thousand times. There stands a girl, with a rose in her hand, beckoning me to her. The more I stare at her glaring beauty, the more I notice her appearance. Her eyes, a lilac green, are mesmerizing and bright with hope. The smile on her face seems to light up the darkness around us. And now I notice her lovely hands reaching out to grab my own. But as I try to reach out to her as well, she slips into the shadows. Thus I awake form my slumber, and from my state of solace. Yet her hold on my heart doesn't waiver in the slightest, As I count the hours till I can meet with her once more.
