Future Pleas of Those Left behind |

I see a future tainted with blood, and laden with atrocities that are yet to be conceived. The world dies. So does true beauty, as well as the freedom that once defined humanity. Corpses rise, as dead and living become one and the same. Chaos shall rule in this place. I hear them, those left behind. They plead to the sky for an answer to arrive. The laws are gone, and they cry out for order. But no one answers their plea. Freedom has left, and they cry out for equality. But no one answers their plea. Life has disappeared, and they cry out for air. But no one answers their plea. They can no longer cry out, for they can no longer breathe. "Deep into that darkness peering, long I stood there wondering, fearing, Doubting, dreaming dreams no mortals ever dared to dream before;" -Edgar All |

Really liked the poem. Loved the setting and discription. -Zach |
