I can remember a time Where we'd spent late out at night Under the bright shining stars Watching fireflies dance out of sight Holding on to those memories Keeps me hanging on till tomorrow But no matter how much I wish it away My heart is only filled with sorrow I reminisce moments spent together And placed them in a ribbon box Tuck it into the shadows And hope my fragile heart will lock I smile at the thought of us On how much we promised to be together But times have changed and its all gone Although it hasn't changed for the better I hope in time my heart will heal To find happiness and peace at mind Finally come to my senses And leave you and the past behind ------------------------------------------------- The poem didn't flow very well at all. The poem took a lot to write. So enjoy? |

The first and second stanza made me cry because The first one reminds me of times spent with my mom and the second one knowing I can never do these things with her again. I loved this poem its amazing The number one thing in acting is honesty: If you can fake that you've got it made. |

Nicely done, Zach. Everyone has memories like these. One can never lock one's heart though. I believe that we must take the bitter with the sweet at the end of the rainbow. And everything's a learning curve. As long as you're not bled to the point where all becomes scar tissue, then you will heal, and become stronger. |

I thought the flow wasn't too bad. Pretty good in fact, but that's just me. I did enjoy it. Rileigh |
