Six months have passed
I'm over you by now
But I'm left with an empty feeling
Never understanding how

I can't comprehend on
Why I feel I'm missing out
I hate how I end up here again
Following down an old route

The cold, the hurt
Its nothing new to me
But I feel a heavy burden
Holding me under for a long time, see?

I'm getting sick of it
A nice guy finishing last
Where I'm left with nothing here
Reminiscing on the past

I know its pathedic to say
How I alone I really feel
But I'm feeling lucked out
Getting the bad end of the deal

Wow, that was really really good. I LOVED the second to the last stanza. The whole thing flowed very well. And the picture fit perfectly

I can really relate, too.

The hardest part about writing poetry,
is trying not to write like everyone else.
