Sitting here in a swivel chair,
typing as the tears flow.
I think back to the good-old-days
of being an innocent child.

These where the days where
you could blame your brother,
for your own stupid mistakes...
and still get away with it.

Now its a whole new ball park,
you're on your own for good.
There's no one to catch you
when you fall into your regret.

There are mistakes we make
and we have to deal with them.
There are consequences we face,
hoping for a helping hand.

I've fallen into believing I'm ugly,
and worth nothing.
I should know better...
but its hard when thats all you hear.

So now hearing it from someone
I love so dearly,
causes nothing but great pain.
Will you love me?

I want you to know who I am,
behind what you really see.
I need you to love me,
and understand my mistakes.

I am broken,
I've been beaten.
I'm a failure.
I'm that wallflower.

Awww Julianna!! This is one of your better works. Its very sad and I know how you feel. It sucks. I'll always be your friend.

I feel that way too... In the end I remain the way I am-broken... thats what you seem to say...
I like this part best though...

- It says a lot and that too strongly... asking those painful questions... and it shows a need to be loved and understood... and more inportantly to know who you are and love you for what you are... It does convey a lot...
I hope I am right with what I thought you conveyed... Am I right?

I am on the same page with you. It is hard to day after day be emotionalt beaten by those who you love. but i think i can speak for all of PIP when i say you are not ugly they are wrong and we are all behind you

-also on a more personal level if you ever want someone to talk to just drop me an e-mail
