Danielle Lies:

When Dani wakes up every morning,
She wipes the tears from her eyes,
By the time she leaves her bedroom she is smiling,
As she eats her breakfast Dani lies.

She lies to her father,
And to strangers in the street,
She'll lie to everyone she knows,
And everyone she's yet to meet.

When Dani hangs out with her friends,
She keeps the tears locked inside,
By the time she gets back home,
No-one knows Dani's lied.

She lies to her father,
And to strangers in the street,
She'll lie to everyone she knows,
And everyone she's yet to meet.

When Dani goes about her day,
She lies with every breath,
By the time she's in her bed,
She honestly welcomes death.

When Dani falls asleep,
She faces the truth of every lie,
By the time she wakes again,
Tears of truth are in her eyes.
