Listening but quiet
Watching yet seeing nothing
Don’t care when someone is hurt
Where is the heart in you?

Not paying attention in school
Failing every class
Looking blank when asked to do math
Where is the brain?

Weak loose arms
Can’t pick up a pen
Or any other thing
Where is the muscle?

Arms and legs all dangly
Just a blob on the floor
Can’t move at all
Where is the bone?

Now you see
What’s wrong with you
You are like this because
You’re hollow all the way through
