Pretty rubbish. :/ Monopoly Of The Vital Organs Go down the street and on the right A window sits reflecting light Straight up the stairs, the second floor Just turn left and through the door You look up as I walk in I just don’t know where to begin Neighbour, lover, my best friend Taunting, traitor round the bend Angry insults, fight after fight A kiss, a hug, but it’s not right Walking together hand in hand Push me away, where do I stand? Say you love me, I say it back We are lost and that’s a fact Don’t want to drop you after all this time But you have to know there is a line My oldest friend and enemy Nothing left to make you see You’re hurting me with hateful spite With love, with kindness, it’s just not right I’ve given up; I’m fed up of pain I don’t want to play this twisted game Go down the street, stop, look and stand Taunting, traitor, my best friend. |
