Desperate |

She clings to every word he ever said And any thoughts he shares, Hoping she might find a clue That, in secrecy, he cares. She refuses to accept as truth That a love so fierce could die. If he loved her then, won’t the love her now? She will never say goodbye. He speaks of days they used to share, As if they’re distant past. She holds these reminiscences close, Hoping they won’t really be the last. She does not have a plan, Nor does she know how this could work, But she’s clutching to it desperately, Just waiting to get hurt. |

I like the last stanza too! I really enjoyed reading this! No, I'm not conceited, 2sexy doesn't mean "too sexy", it means something else! |

I liked this.. Hmmm, I think the first line would sound better if worded a tad bit differently. Just my opinion. |
