Nobody can know you
When you live in your own head,
Refusing to come back into the world
From the place you’ve created.
It’s safe,
And it is as much a reality to you
As anything you could get out there.
Lost in your own thoughts,
Nobody can find you.
You don’t need anybody.
However, that feeling of security
Wont be enough forever,
But the real world
Has become too overwhelming.
A world with so many more thoughts
Than just your own;
Things you can’t escape from.
And it becomes easier
To just stay shut in.
