The drum continues to beat down upon my head, but then I burst into several shards of glass. The floor is now a mirror that only reflects one same face covered by several sets of masks. Now each one of the masks glares right at me, as if condemning the lie that had created them. I then shatter the guilt with a stomp of my heel, causing the masks to shriek and take a new form. Fire erupts where the shards of glass once laid, and a white shroud arises to blind my sight. In the smoke I see a figure slowly approaching, and as it comes closer the heat consumes me. Finally the guilt disappears, but so do I. [This message has been edited by Reborn_Phoenix (03-04-2009 02:35 AM).] |

Thank you both for the welcome, and for the comments on my poem. And thank you SEA for the greeting card as well. The design fits the poem perfectly. |

I absolutely love this, and the imagery is amazing as well. With God I am happy; sadness has no say in my life. |
