Are you a memory? Do you even exist?- When I try to touch your face I can’t feel anything. When I reach toward your hand I can’t reach it As if you’re somewhere Far away- I try to catch up to you by Hastening and pacing Breathlessly, panicking, Anxiously just to see If you are a memory Or not Just to see if you Exist or not- But the more I catch up To you The further you go The more I come closer The more distant you become- Please stop! I want to see you Please stop! I don’t want you to become A memory Please stop! I want you to exist- Please stop! Please stop! Please stop! Can’t you see? How I’m lagging behind? Can’t you see? How I’m desperate? Can’t you see? How despondent I am? Can’t you see? How my feet are being tainted? Can’t you see? How my dress is disintegrating? Just like me! Can’t you turn back? And look for once Please stop!?- I want you to Look me in the eye Touch my face Hold my hand To confirm If you exist Or if you Are just a memory That I am trying To find Within my heart |

You are searching for your sweetheart, your soul mate; if I got it right. I like the way you have expressed it with such straightness, such ease as if it were just thoughts flowing. Thats why I find it beautiful! |

one is that you are right but there could be another 2nd interpretation too teh other one is that people die and they become memories itself cuz you cant see the person anymore and i wrote this poem because i have cousins that live far away and i cant see them nor touch them or hold on to there hands so thats how i came up with this idea if they exist or are they just a memory but its about my prince charming too hehe u could put in 3 ways one is urs and the othr 2 are mine |
