You want me to be your girlfriend
But that I’ve already been
It’s never worked before
So why should we try again?
You’ve hurt me so many times
I’ve faithfully dealt with all that pain
You hate me then you love me
The cycle is driving me insane

You want be to be your girlfriend
But what does that even mean?
A heart for you to play with, then destroy
All never to be seen
Why do you think I should like you?
Don’t I deserve someone else?
Release your spell on me,
And let me decide by myself

You want me to be your girlfriend
Something that I love to be
But somehow I always end up the heartbroken
And you, the heartbreakee
Why do you do this?
Even more, why do I care?
Why does it hurt when you’re with me,
And hurt even more when you’re not there?

I love you Hun, forever
I just cannot let you go, you see
But you hurt me way too much
And your girlfriend, I just cannot be.

Oh! I exspecially love this cause I can relate to this very same situation. Only advice I can give is that if she hurt you once, its more likely to happen again. Great write though!
