Slowly shutting me away. I can't take the suffocation. I'm intimidated now, caught in social situations. Close, too close to see the edge. People crowding all around me. No room to breathe; can’t even see through the crowd that now surrounds me. Stepped on, trod on, pushed aside, no one spares a second glance. How can they make their way unscathed? How do they know the social dance? Ripped up, scarred, I break away. I’m finally free of their delusions. I’ll heal and grow and find myself in the calm of my seclusion. Misa: I can't imagine a world without Light! |
