Thoughts of You

Gone are days of rules,
And I find that I free fall
Far into the future
Far too easily

I govern myself
The open field more protective
Than the encircling fence
That choked my throat

How well I remember the nights
Circling in my head
Where we’ve walked and talked
Becoming well acquainted.

How I yearn to live in the moments
Where your voice relaxed my soul
In the pages of my favorite book
Where, together, for a moment, we were lost

I think of you, words you speak
And I wish, once again
That you were with me
Keeping me for your own

Rawr!!!!! (That means "I love you" in Dinosaur) :)

This is a lovely poem... njoyed reading it...

This is heart warming and so very sincere. I think I needed a few tears in my eyes today, or maybe a flying dinosaur smacked me in the eye, or something.
