Many nights I've cried.
Can't get the demons out of my head.
Thinking I was wrong in letting you go.
But here I sit, sewing my heart with thread.

I burned all your love letters
Cause what good are they now?
A constant living reminder
Of all your empty vows.

I see your new lover
Can't seem to stop the tears.
I hold on so tight to hope
Letting you go is what I fear.

As much as it really kills me
To finally let you go
I'll hold my ground and say
"I love you more then you'll ever know"

Ive read many poems of this sort. Sometimes reminders are the best way to get over the past even though it is hard to think about. Love is so complicated and break-ups are brutal. You express your emotions well. Poetry helps the heart to heal for it lets you know what you really feel. That's the way I've always thought.

wow, just...wow. when i read this i was speachless. the words on my screen that you wrote speek so loudly, its amazing. everything was well writen and i loved all of it,
and yes...you're right, i can relate. super duper job with this one, its got to be one of my favorites.
