Abuse does some crazy...stuff.. to ya.. just venting out emotions held under.

I've been locked in a cage
Held behind rusted bars
I was cursed at and beaten

Because somewhere I did wrong

I've been silenced
For my words held no meaning
but only to them

I was a coward for I feared
That what I did or said
hurt someone else or sometimes me

For somewhere I did wrong

People tell me it wasn't my fault
That I was the victim
But they didn't let me ever speak

For my words have gotten lost
Among the sea of forgetfulness
And somewhere I was forgotten

because somewhere I did wrong

And now that I've been left to sing
A song no one wants to hear
Will I be forgotten among the crowd?

Or be known for where I went wrong?

ohh i just loved this!!

but believe me your situation sounds like it has everything to do with where someone else went wrong, not you!
