Your Solitary Truth

I'm searching for a way to go,
a path to lead me back.
But how can I find the truth you told?
that one solitary fact.

If home is where the heart is,
I'll be stuck for quite a while.
Swimming in the lies you told me,
trying to hide those smiles.

I'll never give in to you,
though you chase me in my dreams.
Running forever I'll stay afloat,
fear flowing in this stream.

Bitter-sweet and unwanted,
I can taste the secrets' disease,
The truth is be but a whisper,
hanging in the breeze.

I'm not lost, I'm running.

I have a pet unicorn...his name is Flavius, as in Flavius Belby. Flavius does not like gumballs..

I'm not lost i'm running....

I've been telling myself this for years and years.. truth is, i'm always running.. and i don't stop long enough to know where i am, so therefore i can't possibly be lost..

Amazing poem em..

These were very cool lines here:

I really love the last stanza.

Wish I could find love.. But all I find these days are superficial fish in shallow waters.
