You made me feel like a person not some sad excuse for a human being it's as though i finally woke up and am truly seeing the world for what it is, not what i thought it once was people around me feeling like dirt then i see i was right about what the world does life may be crazy my eyes make things hazy when their filled with tears and this face smears and tears this face as though paper thin can i ever win? i wish i could wipe the slate clean and make thigns how they truly seem with all these fake people tearing down the steeple of love and trust that was once free standing without one person demanding so much of this small part of me that so badly just wanted to be free now that i'm done with the lies and deciet i can truly see the path left by my own feet curved and twisted in so many ways the consequences are now fully paid i'm on my own in this small place of hope wondering can i even stay afloat? i'm going to make this world my own i'm prone to being used and alone but soon one day i'll be out by myself no longer to just sit on a shelf to wait for another to play with me and now i can run, truly be free |
