planes crash and birds fly

choice words and angry voices
too many times for me to stand
every time we get to smiles
the good never outweighs the bad

hurt and ache describe the way
theres only so much one can take
before the days of the past
creep steady and fast to our lips

the stars have been burning
as the light leads the way
illuminate the passage
with all there is to say

poor choice of words
have the hold in the heart
where the anger still builds
and we lose from the start

like a plane crash at midnight
the flames still burn bright
lighting up our faces
with the voice of the light

hared can kill, it can scar and can scab
but dont let go of the memories we have
there all we have to lose and all there is to love
look at the past and what we've become
