Three on one, let the games begin
She's intoxicated and numb
Fighting off the needle, but she fails again
They jump her and shove her
Push her and pull her
Strip her and hit her
She cries and she screams
She groans and she moans
Drunk, but she knows
This isn't how it was supposed to go
Back alleys and stairwells
Beaten and bruised
Naked, confused
How did she get here?
And when will it stop
They mock her and laugh
Grabbing her flesh
No beauty she lacks
The stars shine so bright
In a painted blue sky
Why, such a lovely night
For an innocent game
Of three on one

A powerful write Emily.

But it struck a dread chord in me. When I was 17 (I'm 22 now) my fiancee was addicted to heroin and she was raped by three men while incapaitaed by the drug at a party. I still remember how she used to cling to me and cry. Some nights I wake up drenched in cold sweat and in tears. I lost her to the drug.

There's no one out there untouched by these things, you just have to do the best for those you love, take the hard choices on the chin and keep on living your life.

Never sigh for a better world, it's already composed, played and told.
