I don’t know where this comes from This confusion in my head Leading me down stairs well traveled to halls lightly tread upon To the wild calling place The place where your memory lives The place of 10,000 pains and 1 smile The place of 2 million tears from a dry eye The place where snow melts and the sun sets That place I don’t know why your smile still haunts my steps Dreaming and waking your laugh still rings in my ears Taunting me Teasing my memories Leading me down these stairs Through these halls 2 this place This secret place This place of two hour orgasms and flaccid erections This place of flailing fists and hands raised in protection This place of warm embraces and cold words Of sneaking in the night to see if U are sleeping alone This place exists in and outside of me, deep in my heart and wide across the globe, this place belongs to you & I gave it willingly by deception So I travel down the steps through the halls to the place and I realize This used to be home. |
