i was too young then but i remember when i heard people cry i didn't understand why they held hands but people died i saw mom and daddy sitting there crying i didn't know what was happening so i asked him, "dad what's going on?" and he said, look sweetheart, its gone! that was the day the tower fell down people's dead bodies laid on the ground that was the day all their dreams died people all over the world cried im 22 now i remember somehow what i saw years ago so i turn my laptop on start to make a song oh god it still hurts me so i saw on youtube, calls that are real they're asking for help, telling what they feel there's smoke around, they cant hardly see its getting really hot, they cant hardly breathe and all the operators could say is "honey help is on the way" they heard them crying, they heard them dying but they just couldn't do anything that was the day the tower fell down the world stopped spinning around that was the day all their dreams died yeah its been years but today I cried another 10 years will pass but ill remember the past and ill watch those angels fly there's a voice in my head its a young man who said " were 5 in here, were too young, were not ready to die!!!" but today is the day we'll build that tower again everything will be okay, you'll see my friend today is the day we'll build those dreams again and we'll never let those evil win........ |

Karren, What a moving tribute. Yes, indeed, you "were too young", but you saw your parents pain, and apparently you were and are a very wise "old" soul who realizes, already, that it's not always fair out there.
