I know it's wrong--
the way you treat me,
yet I don't really care.
All I know is that I need you
to tell me what to do.
I know I should fight back,
lash out and tell you no
but I have a fear embedded deep inside my mind
that will prevent me from any peace I'd find.
I belong to you,
body, mind, and soul,
and that's the way I need it,
completely under your control.
I know that you don't love me
but I don't really care
because I don't love you either,
but say that? -- I'd never dare.
The way you treat me;
I know it's wrong
and maybe I would stop you--
but I'll never be that strong.

I like how you say so much in so few words. I don't feel I ever accomplish this, I try to say too much and it dilutes what I mean. Great write!

How we see ourselves is how others will see us. But I have been there, and someday you will feel strong enough to do the right thing.
