Ignoring myself in stupid hope that you'll love me.
I smile when you tell me to,
I laugh when you tell me to,
I cry when you tell me to.
Completely oblivious to the harm I cause myself,
I worry only about you,
I care only about you,
I protect only you,
thus utterly forgetting about myself and my importance.
I breathe for you,
I sleep for you,
I live for you,
and sacrifice myself in the process.

Nice write. Remember, you feel what you choose to feel. If you allow someone to take that position, you are but a shell who does someone elses bidding.

can so relate but slowly and surely I learnt that I had to look after number one (me) cause nobody else was going to. Love your self first
