Keep them closed

Tight closed

Stay in the darkness

under your quilt

where it is safe

Where you only believe I am under here
Where you can only feel me standing over you
Tight closed like mommy showed you to
When they told I couldn't get to you
That the cupboard is empty I walked into
With the sheet over your head protecting,
My razer sharp will never get to you              Is that my breath on your neck?
Or just a breeze that has gotten through

Closed eyes tight, under sheets of white
Do not open those eyes my child
If you do then im real and your life is mine.

To take a lot of pain,
take a lot of pain
Love is like a cloud,
holds a lot of rain

Oh, I like it. I've often wondered why one would hide under a blanket, does it have some some magic shield no one told me about? Enjoyed.

Scary poem.  This is the second poem I've read tonight that's featured some form of terrifying sleep disorder.  In this case, the nightmare (read nightmare in the old sense as that thing that attacks you in the night) is the speaker.
