'We have lost the abstract sense of beauty, 'I see a flower in its dissected form, In biology there's no mystery, No longer allure to the norm. Beauty crumbles like a poppy, Falling away like pollen in my hand. We seek not to admire but to attain All too human a demand. And at night I'll see the sky Spread like a velvet cape, Sewn with twinkling rhinestones, And across my bed it'll drape- -as I solve the problem of why I can not sleep, As I try in vain not to make beauty intellectually deep. Too often we forget that Ignorance is bliss. It's the anticipation, It's the hope before the kiss. Too much has been debased, Re-enactments of replicas been done. The creation of too many, Will leave us all with none. 'I feel like an animal, and I don't think that I get it. But one day I'll see you around.' |

Another poetic jewel seemingly missed in the crowd. I'm glad I looked. ·´~`·»Garapan«·´~`· |
