All this is empty, and where are you? The laughter, the care, and the joyousness too, they are silent and faltering memories. All this is empty and where are you? Oh if I now knew! How to see you,or touch you, find the love that once grew. If only I could do you know what I'd do? I'd bring it all back, into crystal clear view.Yet all this is empty, and where are you?For the time it has lapsed, and facades have collapsed,as emptiness fills the space where you were. Hi, thank you for sharing this poem about lost love,I could feel your desperation, and sadness at the situation, the poem had an almost "rap" feel to it in places.I enjoyed reading it very much and look forward to reading more from you. jennywren when in deep water become a diver |
