I meet death in Safeways,
She was by the fesh fish stall
She motioned me to come away
I didnt see him fall

I wanted to stay and see
The old man on the floor
He looked a lot like me
But she pointed to the door

Her train was waiting at the station
Death smiled and rang the bell
I shly asked my destination
Death laughed and answered:Hell

Oh Arthur, what a wonderful piece of writing, I thought it rhymed perfectly and was so cleverly put together, well penned, I enjoyed it very very much. Can you tell me why you view death as a woman? just curious, regards jennywren

To be quite honest, I would venture that odors have something to do with that. Just a stray thought.

A good workmanlike composition here - I enjoyed reading it. Had been meaning to click on this topic but hadn't until now.
