Emptyness is all that is inside me
No love left to give anyone at all
My past is just glimmer of what once was
My heart is frozen cold all black and blue

From all the hurt and disappointment
It has had to deal with all these years
My soul no longer seeks companionship
It seeks nothing more than to be alone...

My mind no longer tries to figure out
It just accepts the reality of my emotions
See my emotions are my only weakness
I am one who loves with all of herself

Never knowing how to save something
For me just in case it does not work out
Or if I am not loved in return by another
The chance was taken knowing well the result

So I gave till it broke me inside and out
Then I end up empty and alone
Why even bother at all of love
When it is just a dream for meFroz

To be indulged through poetry and fantasy
I am safe from harm without love in my life
No stress no argueing no forced changes for me
No pretending to be someone else then me

Just me taking care of me and mine that is it
Love needs trust openess understanding to live
None of which will I take the chance and share
Frozen and cold thats just me.
