I can't comprehend how you do it I can't fathom how you get through it But I can appreciate the effort you put Into this life, when it seems hard to move a foot Learning from mistakes, easier said than done So you've said it, but skipped the important one Did you actually do it, actually learn? This is a huge problem, one you can't burn Look me in the eyes and say you did Say you learned, and haven't merely hid The problem away, like a little kid Learn from this, or farewell I will bid I can't keep living life like this The good old days, I really miss The days when you didn't just dismiss Your life away, I'll make a wish There's too much pain when I look at you That's why I left, I couldn't get through The day, when there's nothing to do but look at you, my day turns blue Isn't there something that I can say To make you turn, go another way So you can go on to another day And we can both keep the stress at bay You can't do this, till the end of time Living a life of constant crime So just come back when you know yourself Just come back when you can control yourself |
