Time filed away this tragedy One slip from the tongue and I was done it's so cold a fact, so bold a move but you're not even here to listen Metal and wine overflow my veins I'm distilled in pleasure and diluted in stains Ten times my actions equals a little less than nothing So what's the point of trying anyway Hearts and strings constantly bending In the frightened mess they spell out agony and without a second thought they creep over me This time they've overcome my senses Thrilling novels left under the stairs New endings hiding in psycho-knit layers Running out of time, running out of wine "Forgotten!" is my shrieking cry Delusion leaves my eyes as pillows Information lost due to misguided frequency The knob keeps turning, my mind keeps burning Time has left for the throat that still swallows |
