I feel your shadow creeping up behind me I turn around but no ones there Im alone, like always I see your face through the smoke exhaled Gone in the blink of an eye. Why don't you ever stay? The rain starts pouring down I know the angels cry for you Because they feel the pain that I do I see your reflection on the pavement But there's no smile on your face Because you know that you can't stay. But oh, how I'm begging you to stay. I'd do whatever it takes to bring you back Please come back to me please god, bring him back to me. January 3rd 2009 Emily Shives |
