I should say...I'm posting this under a new sn because my old sn, thinktwice, is under an email addy no longer in existence. hurray. also this is my first post in a couple years. When I was a younger man I was the balanced example; true Fruedian ego set in unconscious balance Rebuking all demons to obey, I was open to angels whispering wisdom A testament to utopian innocence When I was a younger man I was the silenced example; true equestrian Honor set in chivalrous talent Playing his cello song for them, the deaf, to angels’ whispered wisdom It was my testament to unrequited love I am a young man, I am rebuked by demons to obey This deafness to whispered wisdom And the angels calling my name, Like a lost boy I am sickened by my own pride So I’ll ride this drum to find That little boy I left behind |
