Soaking up the guilt of her remnant last mistake He slides the blade beneath his skin and slowly fades away She watches flying silk scarred colors, die inside the light He prays for those who find him first, that they won't wonder why Never fading from his veiw, yet still so out of sight He questions why he sought the truth, if she could only die Together going up in flames, the colors shining bright Spreading wings of fallen names, separation from the night Sketchy shadows dwell inside, due to lack of tears She built these walls to hide behind, so they don't sense her fear Until their final song is sung, so dark and played off key Hand in hand they'll walk the path, paved in disbelief Embracing lies and faith untrue, they hold on to one another But when the solemn truth breaks through, they won't even have each other Emily Shives April 27th 2009 |

"Together going up in flames, the colors shining bright Spreading wings of fallen names, separation from the night Sketchy shadows dwell inside, due to lack of tears She built these walls to hide behind, so they don't sense her fear" I am feelin' that. Your rhymes are becoming very good. Another good read, Em. - If I cant bend Heaven, I shall move Hell - |
