Find me in the darkness of your shadow Forcing me to the ground; beneath abuse, I swim Surfacing just to breathe in your toxic waste Wiping away tears, dried by your wicked lies I'm smothered by your touch; false intentions in denial of a better world A different phase A sacred place Now you're running from the very thing that feeds you The change you've been dying to live for Groping through the doubt of insecurities She walks on away from pain Drowning fear with every swallow Standing in fates way Waiting for him to take her home Emily Shives April 25th 2009 Saturday |
