It's dark outside but I stand alone You lie in my bed but you lie alone You got what you wanted Why don't you just go home Cause you're passed out so close but I feel so alone I cry inside but I cry on my own I know how to wake you but you still won't go home You got what you came for Then you left me alone If you're always asleep then how the hell would you know "Just a few more minutes", you say it and moan Am I supposed to feel sorry that you're laying alone You knew what I'd give you But I still should have known That once I was finished I'd end up alone It's colder outside but I'm standing alone You lie in my bed but you're lying alone I knew what you came for And I should have said no You tell me you love me but I know that you don't I die deep inside but I'll die on my own So I'll leave you with nothing, just the words in this note You got what you came for Then you left me alone I thought I would need you but I guess that I don't Emily Shives 4-27-09 2:05am |
