Twin's gone and I'm what's left
I    remember watching the globe
recede  from below  under the    transparent floor
Every now and again I come out of stasis
I don't know why I bother I'll just see the same
blackness again and I'll just move closer to death
  The last   transmissions    were    terrible
fragments      I love you
     go
          to                hell

      we'll      always         be      together
              the earth was dying
      no         matter         what

                       | did it really matter?  |
                       | she was about to die   |
                       | of radiation sickness  |

and then it all faded and I was left in the darkness
the moon passing away, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn
I promised that I'd tell whoever
           I encountered about the Earth
I told them I'd keep the dream alive

        I  left  a  nightmare
and sleep is my only solace.

Life's short.  Think hard!
Me!

This gets the darker than dark award. Haunting!

Ayo man. Deep content. I am surprised I missed this drop.

Jenn is right. The darkness award you get for this can't even be seen.

Deep, dark, cold, thought-inspiring and moving.

I loved it.
