I left my heart at home, friend Knowing as I did what needed doing... so, I did it I brought my mind along... I couldn't just leave it behind, so my feelings tagged along too Though feelings aren't always of love, like those that remained with my heart... I knew what needed doing Out along the old back trail I found him eating his spoils You could say that she made his last meal I cut him clean in two with a single sweep of my blade, for the deed which he'd done to my kin Now, comes that long walk home My sister's remains in my game bag... half eaten by her killer When the cabin smoke appeared, there was a great relief in my soul... but my heart just wouldn't wait Now, if you find yourself trekkin' through these here woods, stay clear away from the cabin that smokes... for it's there that lives, a heartless man ...just bein' Bluesy |

How very strange and macabre, dear Bluesy. I always have time for you... |
