bottle-locked i used to write words for you in plain-talk English. now i strangle them on my fingertips until they are riddle-wrapped. yet, still, they are always yours. i stifle the out-pouring of thoughts as if expressing them will flood to splinter the known inside my breasts and spew emotion all over us. yet, in my silence, i love you. - Alison |
