             Aftermath

Following in the footsteps
of a passing Winter snow
the tentative moon reappears
to sail the deep oceans of
  endless Time.

Spreading  stillness slips along
this white, soft-velvet forest way,
calming the restless mind
and filling the empty heart
with Nature’s boundless grace
  and spirit.

when I need to find a beautiful collecion of words like a valuable strand of pearls, I know I need not look further...then I discover lovely phrases like:

"the tentative moon reappears
to sail the deep oceans of
  endless Time"

simply lovely
