he goes to the closet of forlorn thoughts and removes from the shelving a collection of words not remembering their birth or even their growth more like cans in a pantry on a wintry morn stashed away in uncertainty as if he were poor with no other light to drain his darkness choosing with delight his creativity coldness feeling the rush of fulfillment's ploy words sprinkled loosely like diamonds' glitters forging a following of readings' remarks holding their hands likes lovers in likeness leaving understanding to stand alone there is no door on this special room-bin for the hand of the creator deems it so and no light can be seen 'cept that of their verbiage where lustre and light are visible in their glow and the words re-arrange and assemble themselves each time they're accessed, they resemble his self |

That's what I come to PIP for. I've been without words for a month now, and I thought if I came in here and read some good stuff, It might get me moving. Not that you're just a shelf in my closet or anthing... Nan (Pilgrim variety) |

Bill, so glad you stopped by as well...always appreciate it when you do and I certainly look forward to it inked, you've hit the nail on the head--when we are open to it, indeed...thank you for your kind comments WolfHeart, your comments are high praise, indeed. So glad it spoke to you...I feel that is the true purpose of poetry...to touch someone else...thank you. Nan, your words are special...I do not take them lightly...I appreciate them...know exactly what you are talking about...I am usually on the other end...needing someone else to read...needing inspiration...thank you |

I agree with Wolfheart....it does read like a Psalm....... your words simply glide along the page |
