Hey, Those balloons are floating away, Stop them! They are going to leave me, Alone, As always, By myself, I still find it enjoyable at times, But, After you, I don't enjoy it for as long as I used to, Alone is empty, Cold, Distant and dark, Alone is a sink full of dirty dishes, And a dripping faucet in the middle of the night, I see others, But they don't matter to me, Nor I to them, I could float back there if you left, Into a corner, There's no light there, I could turn into a monster, It's a fine line, Sanity, An invisible one, Did I cross it ever? Maybe. Keep me on this side, You already do, Embrace my mentality, You already do, I love you. |

Sometimes I think sanity is over-rated! The following lines really were some of my favourites ~ ~ "Those balloons are floating away, Stop them!" ~ "Alone is a sink full of dirty dishes, And a dripping faucet in the middle of the night," EA |
