Theres Tony He steps his lefts on my rights drowns in supermarket cologne and gropes me when we dance the rumba There's Luke He's long in stance olived honed skin and swallows his r's with his longshoreman twang Then there's you you without eyes that can't meet mine For months we dance on the same note on the Latin beat You do all the steps but show me no eyes Luke winks and Tony gropes but you show me nothing Yet I drown in you when we intertwine you show me nothing and I wonder why. |

Sometimes we're gluttons for punishment, as the saying goes. Then there is the wanting what we can't have scenario. ~ as well as the challenge to having that which is kept from us. Hmmm, is it possible to keep all three? lol Linda |

Some men -- most men, if you count all the ways -- take what they want from a woman, or try to find a way. Once in a while there is one whose way is to give her what she needs to have, not "from a man," but from him. Maybe you need for him to be a man who doesn't make tries......that can be a wonderful thing, yes? ~~(¸¸¸¸ºº> ~~(¸¸¸¸ºº> ~~(¸¸ ¸¸ºº> ~~~(¸¸ER¸¸ºº> |

I'll bet there's something there...behind those aavoiding eyes. I loved this...and I'm so curious how it will end! |

Maybe he is intimidated. Give him a gentle push. I am envious of the dancing.. "too bad ignorance isn't painful" |

"Yet I drown in you when we intertwine" ...an elegant line, but on another note (if you would permit me to say) remember that strands intertwined to make a rope (though stronger) are still strands--don't let anyone change you...especially if that someone is a man |

Thanks for reading along. And yes dear E. Angel, you've pegged that for sure. Dark man you may have a point there, I kind of like that. Thanks Mr Mack I loved the robot poem. Kind of sad though when time passes and the robot never humanizes, but I don't thats you at all as a cold man in steel. Stevenr..don't you worry my dear, this gal got too much moxie to change for any ole man...my heart belongs to the most worthy man of all, my one father in heaven and earth anyhow. Sue, I already told you get up and dance girl!! Mr. Rat..you've got a good point there too from the man perspective, most valued. Thanks again. |
