Tempest Scale the breeze delicately kissed me into the night turning black is this the way a sky behaves tenderly touching then attack heavy is shouting noise light flashes then thunder calm surprised by this stir wind falling fast under glass table top breaks force against window pane outside a storm rages anger pounds in the rain weather machine of nature jealously strikes in squall vastly I have been humbled reminding me I am small "no darkness has ever been deep enough to extinguish my personal knowledge of love" Anne Rice |

. Very good Helen With your permission would like to include this in my Word file of poems by others. I don't know why yet I felt a sense of Sandburg smiling in the audience. Again very good John . |

I can't read this without bringing my experience with Ike into it. *S* But that just leaves me more in awe of your talent... I love this, especially the last verse! |
