Perhaps In twelve months If the both of us Are still alive We’ll draw A little nearer To each other Than we have before And I again Without using words Will praise your hair Your face in profile The color of your eyes And you surprised That any man Can still Be a fool for you May think for awhile And smile After all What harm can come From once a year Being younger Than we are . |
