Longing time. Why wont your face fade? My memory haze with the aging of minds? For I’d give the world not to long for you For that gentle embrace And those kind words In which I once believed. Why wont the want die, The anger not flair. Why remember your smile And forget your lies This picture in my mind, It sharpens all your best moments of lies It forgets swiftly the pain A dull ach inside. Is it better this way? To remember bliss. When I thought I knew All of you Could I hate Even a part of you Even after you’ve helped me to try. Loves flame never dies But its burn does intensify With the lonely passage Of longing time. "Death cannot stop true love, all it can do is delay it for a while" The Princess Bride |
