Dear Sue, love that ends always hurts and every now and then, like you say, a tear is shed. But life goes on and your heart is able to love again, don't doubt. Beautifully melancholic. Love, Margherita |

Time truly can heal a broken heart. ~ It has mine. I subscribe to the notion that "It is better to have loved and lost, than to never have loved at all." ~ and it would appear that you loved and had been loved, deeply. Very expressive write. Sending a warm, comforting hug, Linda |

Thank you all for reading and replying. Once in a while, all of that darn pain comes back, again. Oh, how I hate that. |

It's amazing how someone we love can systematically destroy what is good until one has to leave and move on. Where does that love go? I think into poetry. Alison |

poddarku, think you for reading and replying. Alison, I use to ask myself that question. Being as determined as I am, it took me a long time, before I got to that point. I hung, as long as I could (longer that I should have). That is a pain I never want to feel again. |
