She Writes

She writes words which dance in delight
Across the pages I read at night
And I sink into those dreams of chance
Waltz and whirl in my mind's romance
I look into the scene which she sets down
Seeing wonders and joy wearing hope's gown

She writes words that free my soul
From the pains of life endless roll
Then I fly in hope through her open door
Swooping then sinking into beauties allure
Touch the glittering stars and almost weep
With wonder that this is in my keep

She writes words that loosed my chain
Setting me free to roam again
So I leap from my prison of daily grind
Seeking the joys that I know I'll find
Within the words that she conjures for me
I see the world in its true beauty

She writes and I read; an empathic pair
Separate but indivisible, one soul we share

This piece perfectly captures the "beauty" of the pleasure of the senses.

Enjoyed

You write; I read. Such delight!

With the kindness and compassion of your sweet soul, you'd find beauty no matter what the words. *S*

What incredible encouragement you are to all of us... you give us belief our words matter. *S* Thank you, gentle friend... thank you! *S* Beautiful work!

My sweet loving friends thank you for the kindness you show me. I simply do not get the time these days to come and visit for very long. Apart from the time I spend at University, I’m no longer able to type for very long at all. Such is life; we all have things we have to deal with. I did not want you to imagine I forget you, any of you. My bones might be weak but my memory is as clear as ever, I do not forget any of you, or what you have been for me.

I do visit quietly now and then, sometimes I steal time from dictating an essay to place a reply. Too often I simply run out of even stolen time, and can’t do much more than sip the dew of your golden words and bath my soul in wonder.

Take care my friends, you are special to me. And Suthern beloved one YOU know how very special you are, don’t you? I hope so darling heart, for from your soul I hear music that makes angels weep with wonder.

Love and warm stuff

Marsha,
How delightful. Not only do I like the concept I love the presentation. Nicely done. I'm saddened that your bones grow weak but take consolation in the strength of your mind. Miss ya'.

If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane,
I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again.

Dear Marsha, I enjoyed this greatly. You should really bless us more often with your offerings.

Her bones may be weak
But her heart is strong
Her lips give not moans
But uplifting song
To know her friendship
Is to be richly blessed
She overlooks flaws
And brings out our best
A sweeter soul
You never will find
She's gentle and smart
And goodness defined
She's smart and her talent
Is second to none
(and I didn't forget *G*)
She's the pretty one!!

LOL... Sorry, my dear... I couldn't resist! *G*

She does indeed....and even when she writes of grief, her words dance. Like yours, they never fail to move me.

This is the reason people write..for others to enjoy and delight in the masterpieces they create. It's a wonderful bond made between people through thoughts flowing to paper. I love this gorgeous poem.
