Floating Memories
Lift Me
To The Universal
Wholeness
Of Life

Remnants
Of Deep Footprints
Washed Away By Tides
Of Forgetfulness
Linger Within Me

Self-Induced
Aggression
Challenges Me
To Sit
On A Beach
Of Dreams

Watching My Life
Ebb And Flow
With The Tide
Braking Waves
Of Energy
Split
By Yesterdays Wisdom
Reunite
In An Ocean
Of Catechism

Melting
Into A Sea Of Mythology
That Encapsulates
My Consciousness
In Vibrating Harmony
I Expand My Sense
Of Awareness
And Smile

I could not help smiling myself as I read your poem of beautifully expressed wisdom and self~ as well as Universal- understanding.

I visited your website and saw that you have 3 books published. Very impressive! Kudos to you, dear Poet!

Oh, yes, of course I enjoyed your poem.  I can relate.  For myself, however, I would probably close with tears and not a smile but I guess that's because I've still got a long way to go.

Welcome to Pip!

Very nice expressions of expansion in this piece.  Well thought out and much wisdom in self awareness.  You also penned perfectly why I do exactly what you wrote about on a daily basis.    I very much enjoyed your perspective.

You make me leap into untold heights of awareness, dear Hal, with your inspired words.

To read you means to breathe deeper and seeing more clearly, beyond what appears to be the known limits.
